Not a lot to say

Okay, I figured that since it's been a couple of weeks since I updated my blog, I would at least say something today. Really, our life here hasn't been too exciting. We've had a cold making the rounds through everyone in the family and haven't really done a lot. The cold seems to be on its way out though, so that's always a good thing.

In case you couldn't tell since I hadn't posted anything before, my doctor never called me about my titer levels, so I assume that means that they didn't go up again. His office usually only calls if there's a problem. I'd say this is good news. I really didn't want to have to start going every week already.

We don't really do much to celebrate Valentine's Day, since it's a holiday made up by the greeting card companies to sell more cards (and honestly, even if we were the type to celebrate it, there's not a lot Bryce could do to be worse than when he broke up with me right before Valentine's Day). The Monday before, we made cards for everyone in our family for FHE. Ben got to have a party at school that Friday, so he was excited about that.

On Sunday night, the lamp in our big TV decided to go out. Not totally surprising, since it was a floor model, but made us glad that we had purchased the extended warranty on it (we did with our last TV and found that to be a good purchase too, which is actually how we ended up with the TV we have now), since a replacement lamp is almost $150 and this way we don't have to pay anything for it (okay, we paid the warranty price, but that's almost paying for itself now...and actually, we didn't have to pay anything out of pocket for it, since it was part of the money from their buy back for the old TV that had problems). Unfortunately, the lamp is on backorder, so who knows when we'll actually get it. Luckily, we have a spare TV to use for the computer while we're waiting. It does look kind of silly to see this little 27" TV sitting in front of the big 65" one, but it works at least.

And just for kicks and giggles, I thought I'd include these two pictures at the end of this post. The first is a picture of all the grandkids on Bryce's side that we took while we were down for his grandma's funeral. The second is one I took of me this morning since I'm 30 weeks along today. I swear I've gotten bigger in the last 2 weeks...

Ok I am so glad you left a post on my blog!! I didn't even know you were pregnant, but it sounds like you waited a while to tell everyone. Well Congrats!! and a girl that is so exciting, you kind of made it sound like she is the last are you thinking you are done?

Ok So just so you know you can spoil her that is a ok, don't tell Bryce I told you that but you have every right to spoil that little princess. She deserves it with 4 older brothers. Are your boys so excited for a sister? Every house needs atleast one of each I know it doesn't always happen for everyone but it is nice to have at least one of each. Kyle will tell you other wise he needs a brother but he is such an amazing brother to all these girls and I tell him we are not done so he will probably get a brother (I feel there is a boy up there and we want a couple or 3 more I know we are crazy)So I'm not to worried about getting him a boy he has just had to wait a while. You guys have had to wait a while too, and we already have one.

I so love having girls!!! They are so fun, you will love having a girl and so will Bryce. Are They having a shower for you? Let me know.

We are only due like 3-4 days apart I am due May 3rd

I am so excited for you!!! Names are so hard it is getting harder and harder with each one good luck in that department.

I hope all is well with you it looks like you have had a lot of apts. No fun we know what that is like. How are the boys doing in school.

Sorry for my marathon post it has been forever since we talked well I hope you are doing great!!!

Yeah, we're excited to be having a girl, but still a little nervous. We know boys. :)

As far as I know, there won't be any showers for this one. But I really should get busy and actually buy stuff for her, since we don't have very much at all. Luckily we did have some unisex clothes, especially in the 0-3 month size, but most of our baby clothes are definitely boy clothes. I don't think reality has sunk in yet.

And yes, we're thinking she will be our last. It just kind of feels complete now, you know? Plus, I'll be 34 when I have her, so I'm starting to get a bit on the old side for more. And with her, we've officially run out of seats in the van. So I guess we can't have more. :)
