Ben started swimming lessons yesterday. When we got to the pool, he said he was a little nervous. It didn't take him long to get over that though. He had fun for the short half hour lesson, grabbing toys (or treasures, as the instructor called them) off the bottom of the pool, holding onto the stairs and kicking, and doing lots of spinning and jumping in the water. There were 4 girls and one other boy in his class. One of the girls and the one boy were both pretty timid and would just sit on the top step. He said his teacher was very nice and he was very excited and ready for his second lesson to start today. He's kind of funny though and didn't want me to tell his dad about the lessons. I'm not sure why.
Today he got to float on his back, swim with the noodle, dive for more "treasures" - this time he was doing all the way under, and jump to his teacher from the edge of the pool. His brothers all came with us today and Alex is very excited for when his lessons start in 2 weeks.
